Personal Advisers

Every young person in Norfolk can talk to a Connexions Personal Adviser (PA). You can make an appointment to meet with your PA at school or college, or in your local Connexions Centre.

What are PAs there for?

PAs are there to support you and answer your questions. You can talk to your PA about things like

  • your options when you leave school
  • finding a job
  • problems at home or at school.

PAs don't have the answer to everything – but they can always listen to what you have to say. If they can't help you with your problem, they can put you in touch with someone who can.

Everything you say to your PA is confidential, which means they won't tell anyone else what you've said without your permission. (There are exceptions to this: Click Your info to read what they are, or ask your PA to explain it to you.)

If you don't want to talk to a PA...

...you can still get help from Connexions in another way. Why not try

  • looking around this website? Many of the issues dealt with by PAs are discussed on this site. Most of the information on this site has been written or checked by a PA
  • contacting Connexions Direct? You could get advice from an adviser over the Internet, or by phone or text. Click Connexions Direct to learn more
  • picking up a leaflet or booklet? Connexions publishes booklets with information for young people. There's also an information library in every Connexions Centre in Norfolk.
