Get your condoms

What do I do?

  • Ask to sign up at any open C-Card Registration Point
  • you will discuss some sexual health issues with a C-Card Trainer in private
  • you give your date of birth and part of your postcode, we give you a C-Card, ID number and selection pack of condoms. (We will never contact you using this information.)
  • whenever you want condoms, visit any C-Card Issue Point or Registration Point (click Where to go to find your nearest one)
  • show your C-Card and indicate which types of condoms you want, by name, colour or number. Take a look at the choice of condoms available – click Condom menu... and pick any 10.
  • use your card 6 times if 16 or over, 3 times if aged 13 to 15. After this, return to any C-Card Registration Point to for a chat and to get your card renewed.
  • your C-Card is marked every time you use it
  • when you visit the C-Card Point - be sure to check out what other sexual health services are available in your local area.

Under 13?

If you're under 13 you can't register with the C-Card scheme. If you need advice you can still visit any of the C-Card Registration Points to talk to someone confidentially and in private. Click Where to go to find your nearest one.

Some C-Card Registration Points and Issue Points offer more than just free condoms. Look out for signs telling you what else is available, such as

  • information
  • someone to talk to
  • pregnancy testing
  • STI testing
  • other contraception
  • emergency contraception.
