European Voluntary Service

Norfolk Children’s Service is working with partners in Sweden, Romania, Cameroon, Sierra Leon, Peru and Argentina to develop volunteering opportunities for up to 12 months. The programme is called Yes for EVS - check out the Yes for EVS website here.

  • Open to all young people in Norfolk aged 16 to 30
  • Volunteer for 2-12 months!

Youth in Action programme

The Youth in Action programme offers young Europeans (like you!) the chance to make a real difference to the world and to your own life through the European Voluntary Service (EVS). The EVS can give you the unique chance to express your commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary activities in a foreign country within or outside the EU.

Learning for life!

By participating in voluntary activities you can

  • develop new skills
  • improve your personal, educational and professional development
  • take training courses throughout the activity
  • gain a formal qualification through a Youthpass.

About EVS

The European Voluntary Service covers a wide range of areas, such as culture, youth, sports, social care, cultural heritage, the arts, civil protection, the environment, development co-operation, etc.  All the activites enable you to learn about other cultures.

Interested?

Are you between 16 and 30 and willing to spend from two up to 12 months abroad as an EVS volunteer? Check this out this web site for further information about EVS.
