Personal Advisers

Want advice on careers, money or something else? Make an appointment with a Personal Adviser - you can see them in school or college, or at a Connexions Centre near you.
Kickstart
Kickstart is there to help people with transport problems to get to training courses, interviews and jobs. Kickstart helps by loaning people a moped for a short time.
Kickstart can give you
- a moped
- CBT training
- a safety helmet and gloves, and a wet weather suit
- insurance cover
- a vehicle license (often called "road tax")
- servicing for the moped.
What you have to do
People who use Kickstart have to pay for their own fuel and oil. You also have to pay a weekly contribution of £10 to Kickstart, which you can pay at any post office or Lloyds TSB bank.
If you return the moped in good condition, you get back 30% of all the contributions you made.
How to apply
Just ask for a Kickstart application pack at any Jobcentre Plus or Connexions Centre. Or you could get in touch with Kickstart Norfolk using the contact details below.
